Prakash T. Maggan, CPA, CFO

Prakash has been involved in the hospitality industry directly and indirectly for most of his life. Prakash obtained his undergraduate degree in Business Management & Accounting from Transylvania University in 1997 and went on to obtain a law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law. Upon graduation, Prakash obtained his CPA license and practiced public accounting in Dayton, Ohio at Deloitte and later with Brady Ware & Company. 

Prakash returned to Kentucky to join Rainmaker Hospitality in 2008 to serve as CFO. Prakash is responsible for cash management, financial metric analysis and financial reporting.  Prakash has served on the IHG Owner’s Association (IHGOA)for over a decade including serving as the Chair of Technology Committee and currently as a Vice-Chair for the Americas Regional Council.  Prakash has recently also been elected to the IHGOA Global Board of Directors. 

Prakash is active in the local community and currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Transylvania University as well as the City of Richmond Tourism Board.
